Highly qualified employees are the foundation pillars of a company’s long-term success. For this reason, since the beginning of this year, the Dresden based O&M provider WSB Service GmbH actively supports the post graduate course of studies Wind Energy Technology and Management (Wind Studies) at the University Carl von Ossietzky, Oldenburg.
For wind students learning only starts at the end of a work day: reading course books, preparing project works and presentations. After eleven months it is completed – the only course specialised in the needs of the wind energy branch. Due to a combination of case studies with practical relevance and the provision of theoretical fundamentals students can apply the acquired knowledge in their daily work. The course provides key qualifications to understand and evaluate wind energy projects in its complexity. Majors are natural science, technology, IT, business administration, law, project planning and project management.
“Several employees of the WSB Group have already successfully graduated in Wind Energy Technology and Management. We want to help promote the qualification of professionals and sponsor this special study programme”, reports Stephan Neugebauer, Managing Director of WSB Service GmbH. Furthermore, WSB has been an active member of the programme’s Advisory Board for several years. The professional support of the Advisory Board develops the course further and secures practical relevance of the lectures offered.
WSB Service GmbH presents itself at the HANNOVER TRADE FAIR from 04.04.2011 until 08.04.2011 at a joint stand with WSB Neue Energien GmbH in hall 27, stand J30.
